Margaret A. Kulibert passed away early Sunday morning, October 24th at the age of 100, with her family at her bedside. Margaret was born in Oshkosh on February 14, 1910 to Rudolf and Elise Gertsch. She married Alfred Kulibert on October 26, 1929 and they had one son Robert. Margaret worked at the telephone company as a supervisor for many years until her mother's health required her care. In retirement, Marge and Al went on many fabulous trips including Hawaii, New York, and Las Vegas. In her spare time she made literally hundreds of needlepoint seasonal decorations that she shared with her family and friends.Margaret will be sadly missed by her family. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Rosemarie Kulibert, grandchildren Michael(Patricia) Kulibert Fond du Lac, Catherine(Timothy) Cook Butte des Morts, and Carol(Gregory) Bemis Fond du Lac. She has six great grandchildren, Sandy, Kristin and Kimberly Bemis, Kevin (Danielle), Joey and Peter Kulibert, and a great-great grandchild Samuel Kulibert. She is further survived by a brother-in-law Marvin (Jane) Kulibert, and two sister-in-laws, Evie Kulibert and Loretta Kulibert and many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her dear friends, Helen, Gertie, Ethel, Pastor Moll and her numerous close friends that she dined and played bingo with at Bethel Home. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred, her beloved son Robert, one sister Elizabeth, and five brothers, Ralph, Adolph, Ulrich, Christian and Bernhardt.Margaret spent the last four years of her life at Bethel Home where she won the hearts of the staff and made more friends and touched more lives than most people do in a lifetime. She kept an endless supply of candy on hand to provide "nourishment" to the staff. Her 100th birthday was very special. On one of her frequent visits to Aurora to receive blood transfusions, the ER staff gave her a surprise birthday party including 100 red roses. They all knew her simply as "Grandma." Up until a month before her death, she was still as sharp as could be; reciting psalms, playing bingo, balancing her checkbook, sending out cards, watching Packers games and crocheting potholders that she gave to all who stopped in to visit.Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Home Chapel on Friday, October 29th. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. David Pagel officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Dr. Blaha and the staffs at Aurora ER and Bethel Home for the tender loving care you gave to our grandma. She was truly a remarkable woman and we will miss her.
