Margaret Florence Quigley

Margaret Florence Quigley, 87, Oshkosh, passed away after a long and happy life on Saturday, July 1, 2017. She was born March 2, 1930, in Oshkosh, daughter of Leonard and Leona (Muza) Pitzen. At a young age Marge’s dad passed away, leaving her mother to raise two girls alone. Marge grew up a respectful, happy young woman. On September 26, 1950, Marge married James Quigley, and he passed away in 1970. Marge was employed in numerous positions at F.W. Woolworth for many years until moving to Quent’s Auto and Tire Repair until her retirement. She enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including gardening and crochet, but none of them she loved as much as being with her nieces and nephews. She loved them so much and treated them like they were her own children. They will miss her greatly. Marge also loved her pets; they were a part of her family.

Marge is survived by a brother-in-law, Orvil Henriksen; a sister-in-law, Sally Clausen; nieces and nephews: Orvil Jr. Henriksen, John (Donna) Henriksen, Cherry (Richard) Yarwood, Marianne (Dave) Hilker, Mary Ellen (Quent) Gerlach, Lee Clausen, and Roseann (Rand) Bersch; further survived by her special family: Lee Merritt and his children who she considered her own: Angela Merritt, Amy (Steve) Grunske, and Todd Merritt; a special grandson, Steve Merritt; many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Jim, Marge was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Leona “Toots” Henriksen; a sister-in-law, Angela (Florian) Binder; a brother-in-law, Ervin Clausen; a nephew, Ervin Clausen Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, 402 Waugoo Avenue, Oshkosh, with Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
