Dr. Margaret Jean Seay Lippert died Tuesday January 17, 2006.Born February 15, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama. Graduated from Bryn Mayr College in 1955. Graduated from the University of Alabama Medical School in 1958. A Family and Child Psychiatrist, Dr. Seay has spent her entire career in Wisconsin, helping those in need regardless of their financial status. Dr. Seay retired in December of 2005 from Appleton Psychiatric Associates in Appleton, Wisconsin due to a sudden onset of cancer. Dr. Seay actively participated as a missionary in Mexico through her church, The First Congregational Church in Oshkosh. Dr. Seay lead a tireless example of work ethic, generosity, service to her community and dedication to humanity. On January 7, 2006, Dr. Seay received The Lifetime Achievement for 2006 from the Wisconsin Psychiatric Association, Northern Chapter. Dr. Seay survived her husband, Dr. David James Trimborn Lippert, PhD, journalism professor from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and her parents, Eddy Lou Hill Seay and Dr. James E. Seay of Birmingham, Alabama. She is survived by Kathryn Louise Sunny Lippert, her husband, E.E. Davis, Bessemer, Alabama and their children, Jeramy and Joseph David Nitke; James Seay Lippert, and his children, Patrick and Benjamin Lippert, Fremont, California, William Leahy Lippert, his wife, Beth Lippert and their sons, Maxwell and Porter Lippert, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, David J. Lippert, Jr., his wife Susan and their children Allysa and Andrew Lippert, Rockford, Illinois and her brother, Dr. James E. Seay and his wife Patricia Seay, Fairhope, Alabama. Visitation will be at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, Oshkosh, Thursday, January 19, 2006 from 4:00 through 7:00 PM. The funeral will be held Friday, January 20, 2006 at 6:00 at the First Congregational Church in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama January 23, 2006 at 3:00 PM where she will be laid to rest beside her father.
