Margarita Martinez Gutierrez

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Margarita M. Gutierrez passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006 while feeling the loving touches of her daughter, granddaughters, and great-grandsons, who were willingly giving her back to God. Margarita was born into life on June 10, 1929 to Jesús Martínez and Herminia Treviño in San Benito, Texas.Margarita is survived in life by her loving and devoted daughter Margarita G. Ainsworth, her granddaughters Sandra Gutierrez, Tara Gutierrez, Ashlee Ainsworth; great-grandsons Dylan Phillips and Ethan Phillips; and siblings Jesus (Linda) Martinez Jr. of Houma, LA, Alicia Martinez and Josie Tamez of San Antonio, TX, and Irma Arismendi of Corpus Christi, TX, along with many nieces and nephews.Margarita was preceded in death by her loving parents, siblings: Moises Martinez, Concepción Martinez, Frank Martinez, Martina Garza, and nephew Andres Arismendi Jr.Margarita left a lifelong career in Supply Distribution at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas in 1991 and later became a valued team member of Goodwill Industries of Oshkosh, WI until retirement in 2004. Margaritas loves in life were simple and pure: watching television and spending time with her family. Margarita was a loving, loyal, and devout mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, having devoted and given her life in its entirety to her family, for which they will be forever grateful. Margaritas unconditional love and undying giving spirit will live on in her family as these are the values she lived by.
