Marian E Jaeger

Marian E Jaeger, age 90, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Bethel Home. She was born to the late John and Elsie (Porath) Kellett in Oshkosh, WI on June 8, 1928. Marian attended Oshkosh High School and graduated in 1946. She married the love of her life, Ralph Jaeger on October 29, 1949 at Bethlehem Lutheran church in Oshkosh. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters. After moving to New Berlin, WI she was a homemaker and later worked as an assistant merchandising manager for JC Penney in Brookfield, WI. Upon retiring they moved back to Oshkosh, WI. They enjoyed spending a lot of their time in Hayward, WI and living in a cabin that Ralph built on the Chippewa Flowage. Marian loved spending time with her family especially playing with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader till the end. Other things she enjoyed were sewing, gardening and cooking for everyone.

Marian is survived by her two daughters, Linda Jicha, Cheryl (John) Poweleit; son-in-law, K.C. Altekruse; eight grandchildren, Michele (Kevin) Meyer, Alysia (Carlito) Suarez, Nick (Indigo) Jicha, Heather, Luke, Darin Poweleit, Benjamin and Jason Altekruse; and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Haley Meyer.

In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph and daughter Sally Altekruse.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- West side, 100 Lake Pointe Dr, Oshkosh, with Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until time of service. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Bethel Home, activities department Oshkosh.

The family would like to thank Bethel Home for all their wonderful care given to Marian. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
