Marianne Miller, age 69, passed away Friday July 5th at her home. She was born on Sept 5th, 1954, in Oshkosh. The daughter of Wilhelm and Wally Kohlhoff. Marianne married Paul Miller on Dec 18th, 1976, in Grace Lutheran Church Oshkosh.
She is survived by her husband Paul, his sisters: Betty (Terence) Harrison, Marcia (Jonathan) Peterson, Sue (Mike) Meidl. Paul brothers: Bill and Richard (Costa Rica). Marianne's twin sister: Margaret (Jim Meyer).
Preceded in death by her father, Wilhelm Kohlhoff; mother, Wally; and brother-in-law, Dan Miller (Pat Larsen).
A funeral service will be held at Konrad-Behlman West Side Funeral home (100 Lake Pointe Drive) on Saturday July 13th at 11:00. Visitation at 9:30-11:00.
Marianne's love for nature, the birds and her faith in God all blended together. She was the happiest outside with her flowers, feeding the birds and sending thanks to God for everyday he gave us. Along with the outdoors she golfed for 24 years (2008-2010) in Oshkosh and their 2nd home in Bartow Florida. She was always sending pictures of the alligators, Herons and Pelicans. Her life list of birds was 165. After Pauls mom, Marie Miller died, Marianne started collecting all the family recipes and spent a year and a half combining them into a cookbook called "Guten Appetit!". She hand selected pictures to go with the recipes.
We want to thank Amy Jo at Hospice, Pastor Dorn from Living Water and Pam Pamperin for playing harp.
"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: " It is more blessed to give than to receive."
