Marie Bertha Sanders

Marie Sanders, 78, of Oshkosh died on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on September 12, 1930 in Oshkosh the daughter of John and Goldie Farber Schreiber. She married Robert Sanders on June 25, 1949 in Oshkosh. Bob preceded her in death on January 13, 2009. Marie was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ and had lived at Arborview Manor for the last four months. She enjoyed sewing, loved to travel, and "Boy, Oh Boy" did she love pretzels. She retired from the Miles Kimball Co. after many years. Survivors include one son, Robert D. (Ann) Sanders of Oshkosh; two daughters, Barbara (James) Goodwin of Oshkosh, Carole Sanders of Menasha; five grandchildren, Tim, Lisa, Tina, Theresa, and Matthew; and four great-grand children; one brother, John (Arlene) Schreiber of Black River Falls; and one brother-in-law, Ed Fenske of Fond du Lac. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Debra Drapp, and one sister, June Fenske.The funeral service will be on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Emanuel United Church of Christ (1306 Michigan St) with the Rev. Linda Kuhn officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM to the time of Service. Inurnment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.Marie's family would like to thank the new friends and the staff at Arborview for the comfort, care, and love that she was shown during her stay.
