Marilyn C. Bragg, 74, Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 5, 2015.She was born in Oshkosh, the daughter of Louis and Margaret (Gams) Spanbauer. Marilyn was always interested in theatre. She part-took in many community productions and enjoyed the well deserved attention for her gifts in acting and entertaining. Marilyn replaced acting in theater productions with a passion for reading, which she did whenever she had the chance. Marilyn is survived by her son, David (Deb) Bragg; daughter, Christine Bragg; grandson, Taylor (Zoe)Bragg; a sister, Lou Raab; nieces: Lynn (Don) McKenney and Judy Raab; her former husband, James Bragg. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stanley Sunny (Flo) Spanbauer; sister, Lorraine (Steve) Cowen; and brother-in-law, Tony Raab.A prayer service will be held for Marilyn at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Drive), with Fr. Doug LeCaptain officiating. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.Marilyns family would like to extend a special thank you to the Neenah Police and Paramedics for their valiant efforts, as well as the staffs at Theda Clark Medical Center and Assisi Homes, for their compassionate care for Marilyn.
