Marilynn A. Moll, age 72, died September 27, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Marilynn was the wife of Rev. Walter Moll; they celebrated 50 years of marriage January 5, 2007. Marilynn was born August 14, 1935, in Holyoke, MA, the youngest of four daughters of Charles and Nellie Stallmann. She attended public schools in Holyoke, and graduated from Concordia College in Bronxville, NY, and Holyoke Hospital School of Medical Technology. She was employed as a registered medical technologist at Holyoke Hospital, Resurrection Hospital in Chicago, Deaconess and St. Marys Hospitals in St. Louis, Immanuel Lutheran Hospital in Omaha, and Mercy Medical Center until her retirement in 2002. She held membership in the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, American Society of Medical Technologists, and Fox Valley Society for Medical Technology. Marilynn was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where her husband was pastor 41 years. She was active as a Sunday School teacher, cradle roll secretary, member of the Ladies Mission Society, Ladies Aid, Bethlehem Guild, and as a leader in the Girl Pioneers program. Rev. and Mrs. Moll have two sons: Philip (Peggy) of Winona, MN, and Peter (Ellen) of Oshkosh, and five grandchildren: Amy (Greg) Lyon, Katie (Jon) Hermanson, Lauren and Courtney Moll, and Nathan Moll. Marilynn is also survived by three sisters: June (Bob) Tacy, Virginia (John) Dede, and Charlotte (Bob) Fries, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home West Side (Witzel Ave.) on Sunday, September 30, from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. The funeral will be a private service conducted by Marilynns nephew, Pastor Paul Fries of Luverne, MN, and Pastor John Dorn of Oshkosh. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to: Central African Medical Mission Fund of the WELS; Wisconsin Lutheran College, Milwaukee, WI; and Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN. The family wishes to thank the medical and nursing staffs of Mercy Medical Center, Affinity Hospice, Dr. Karen Gremminger, and staff of Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology.
