Marion Delores Paulsen age 92 of Oshkosh passed away on February 19, 2023, after a brief illness.
Marion was born September 24, 1930, in Oshkosh the daughter of George and Elizabeth Kolodzik. Marion grew up in Oshkosh and graduated from Oshkosh High School. On October 1, 1949, she married Robert W. Paulsen in Oshkosh.
Marion enjoyed Friday night fish fry’s, dancing, playing cards and going to their cottage in Wild Rose enjoying many great times with their children, grandchildren and friends. Marion also enjoyed her 25 plus years working at Sterling Gardens Florist.
Together Marion and Robert had three children: James (Kris) Paulsen. Richard (Jamie) Paulsen and Cheryl (Mike) Calo; seven grandchildren: James Paulsen II (Kat Tibbets), Robert (Amanda) Paulsen, Thomas (Amy Boucher) Paulsen, Matthew Paulsen, Nicole (Scott) Fumelle, Rebecca (Troy) Peppler, Adam (Pang) Last; nine great grandchildren: Gracie, Madisyn, Brody, Madden, Chesney, Zach, Addison, Abigail, and Ray; three great-great grandchildren: Violet, Mateo and the newest one Brayden. Marion is also survived by her sister, Donna Walter and brother, Raymond Kolodzik; in-laws: Sue Kosmer, Nancy (John) Embs, Pauline Paulsen, Janet Paulsen as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeding her was her loving husband, Robert; sisters and brothers-in-law: Shirley (Jake) Gohke, Betty Lou (Hurbert) Wohlers; in-laws: Phil (Donna) Paulsen, Bill Paulsen, Jack Paulsen, Donald (Shirley) Paulsen, Jean (Dennis) Syvrud, June (Erich) Tscheck, Carol (Steve) Koss, Pete Kosmer, Betsy Kolodzik, Phil Martinez, John Walters and Bill Bero.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Konrad-Behlman funeral home (Westside) from 9:30 am -11:00 am with funeral services immediately following. Burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
Marion’s family would like to thank the staff at Eden Meadows for all of the care, love and compassion they had given to Marion the past 5 years as well as the Aurora Hospice team. Thank you so much.
Forever thank you to Cheryl Ferrara whom we had met many years ago. What a difference you had made in our mother’s life as well as ours. You are such a caring, loving, best friend and best caregiver ever. Thank you for all you have done throughout the years for our mother.
