Marion Emma Molly Griedl

Marion M. (Hardel) Griedl, 87, of Oshkosh died on Friday, July, 24, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center, Oshkosh. She was born on August 31, 1921 in Oshkosh the daughter of William and Anna Woltman Hardel. Marion married Harold Griedl on December 1, 1945 in El Paso, Texas. Harold preceded her in death on February 3, 1998.Marion was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and had been a beautician for many years. She was a WWII Army Veteran. Survivors include nephews, Ronald (Kathy) Gomoll, Dennis (Lynn) Diemel, Roger (Rose) Diemel, and Dan Gomoll, all of Oshkosh, Steve (Mary) Gomoll of Green Bay; Niece and goddaughter, Susan (Mark) Goodacre of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, William and Anna; and three sisters, Anita in infancy, Rhea Gomoll and Mavis Morgan.The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside) with the Rev. Nancy Krueger officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
