Marion Janette Kaufmann

Marion J. Kaufmann, 91, of Oshkosh died on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Sterling House, Oshkosh. She was born on September 17, 1918 in Oshkosh the daughter of Harvey and Linda Witzke Voight. She married Florien J. Shorty Kaufmann on August 10, 1940 in Oshkosh. Florien preceded her in death on February 9, 1999.Marion was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She was employed at the Buckstaff Casket Co. and Park View Health Center. Marion was active in the Park View Health Center Auxiliary and enjoyed crochet and crafts.Survivors include Gary N. (Linda) Kaufmann, Thomas J. (Myrna) Kaufmann, and Richard L. Kaufmann; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and special friends Mimi Meyer and Doris Kossel.She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son, Florien D. Kaufmann; two sisters, Dorothy Davis and Helen Kaufmann and one brother, Delmar Voight.The funeral will be on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Noon at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside). Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to Noon. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Marions family extends a special thanks to the staff at Sterling House and Asera Care Hospice nurses Mike and Tammy.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
