Marion O. McCray went to her heavenly home on April 8, 2014 at Sterling House, Oshkosh. She was born on January 31, 1921 to Fred and Marie Judkins. She married her high school sweetheart, Allen Will McCray (Bill) on February 14, 1940. She and Bill met when they performed the lead roles in The Mikado operetta. Marion was a talented singer and dancer and was asked to perform at many local events.Marion devoted her life to her family and home. She enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, gardening, keeping an immaculate house, and singing and listening to Christian and golden oldies music. She especially enjoyed the years she and Bill lived in Kentucky where she volunteered at the Winchester library, and their trips to Hawaii.Marion is survived by: her husband Bill; son Michael McCray of Panorama City, CA; daughters Nancy (Larry) Wright of Oshkosh and Pamela (Seth) Abbott of York, PA; grandchildren Todd (Carol Wright), Jennifer (Matt) Merten of Oshkosh, Ben (Maureen) Abbott of York PA; and great-grandson Drake Merten of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Howard Judkins and sisters LaVerne Charles and Betty Theabo.A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes, 100 Lake Pointe Dr., Oshkosh with Chaplain Kerry Kelley officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.The family is sincerely grateful to the Affinity Visiting Nurses Hospice and the wonderful, caring staff at Sterling House for their kindness and compassion shown to Marion and her family.
