Marissa Marie Marx

Marissa Marie Marx, 17, of Oshkosh died on Thursday December 7, 2006, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The gift of Marissa was received by Michael and Julie Haringer Marx, on July 19, 1989, in Oshkosh, WI. She attended St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary School, St John Neumann Middle School and was presently a Junior at Lourdes High School, where she achieved highest honors. Marissa was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church.As a young girl, Marissa always wanted to be a princess. She was a sweet, generous and compassionate young woman, who loved fun and loved life. Her beautiful smile spread joy and happiness wherever she went. Her passions were music, dance, fashion and shopping, shopping, shopping! She was a member of the Lourdes High School Dance Team, Lourdes Key Club and Teen Safe Rides. Marissa danced at Crosby Dance Studio for 14 years. To her entire family, she truly had become a princess.For every life that Marissa has touched, there will be an emptiness that can never be filled. Survivors include her parents, Michael and Julie Marx, Oshkosh; one brother, Jonathon Marx, Madison; grandparents, John and Joan Haringer, Oshkosh; Kenneth and Barbara Marx, Oshkosh; aunts, Jill Haringer, Chicago, IL; Jayne (Michael) Blazer, Suamico; Kelly (Stephen) Schutzbank, Oshkosh; cousins, Corey (Kari) Resop, Denmark, WI; Nyckole (Don) Davis, Clintonville; Bret (Bobbi) Resop, Oshkosh; Sarah Samida, Oshkosh; Autumn Samida, Oshkosh; Mark and Miles Arne, Suamico; Abigail and Adam Schutzbank, Oshkosh; godfather, Rick Koplitz, Omro; special people in her life; the Madel family, John Cartwright, Katherine Kotschi, Pam and Charlie Baier all of Oshkosh and the entire Lourdes family.A celebration of Marissas life will be held at St. Vincent Catholic Church on Monday December 11, 2006, beginning at 11:00 AM, officiated by Fr. William Van de Kreeke. Family and friends may call at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of Mass. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Sunday at 7:00 PM. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial is being established.Marissa - Thank you for 17years of joy.
