Marjorie Marie Margie Hedtke, 76, of Oshkosh passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, February 8, 2013. She was born in Oshkosh on October 9, 1936 the daughter of Edward and Rose Martin Hedtke. Margie was an active member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church. She graduated from Oshkosh High School. Margie enjoyed rummaging and trips to the casinos with her sisters. She made annual outings to watch Elvis impersonators, weekly rummage sales/ lunches with her nieces and enjoyed meeting with the Red Hat Ladies with her sisters, Elaine, Betty and friend, Mary Ellen. Margie loved to play cards and was the past champion of the annual Hedtke Sheepshead Tournament. She worked at the Union BBQ/Carmel Crisp Shop and then at SNC until her retirement in 2002. Survivors include her brothers, Donald (Joan) Hedtke, Gerald (Mary Kay) Hedtke; a special friend, Geraldine; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Sally) Hedtke, brother Dennis Hedtke; sister, Jane Hedtke, sisters and brother-in-laws, Elaine (James) Christilaw, Shirley (Loren) Coates and Betty (Philip) Williams. The funeral service will be on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with the Rev. Chadwick Grahm officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Margie was a very special aunt. She may have been small in stature, but she made a big impact on our lives.
