Mark Allan Klein, 57, of Oshkosh died unexpectedly on Monday, July 9th, 2018. He was born on October 20th, 1960, in Menomonee Falls, WI, the son of Eunice (nee Bugs) and Allan Klein.
Mark was a graduate of Menomonee Falls North High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from UW- Eau Claire. He had a successful career in finance and banking. He enjoyed golfing (four holes-in-One!), fishing, and was a founder of the Red Deagle Hunting Club. His greatest love of all was his family.
Mark will be missed by his wife, Judy (nee Davidson) Klein; son, Maxwell Klein (Sarah); daughter, Heidi Lund (Nick); sister, Amy Masters (Steve); brother, Tom Klein; parents-in-law Geralidine and Jerry (Jeep) Davidson, sister-in-law Jill Pierce (Brad) and Jean Sachs (Jeff); nephew Tyler Pierce (fiancee Landra), nieces Taylor and Tiffani Pierce, Carleigh and Emmaleigh Sachs, Michelle and Melissa Masters, as well as other relatives and friends; his side companion, Mowgli (dog) and his fish; grandparent to many furry animals.
Mark was known by many for his kind heart and willingness to give to others; he was active in the church (endowment committee, Sunday school, pickle ball), Oshkosh Youth Softball, YMCA Swim Team, Boy Scouts, and as a Naval Academy Blue & Gold Officer; Mark continues to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, 240 W 9th Ave, Oshkosh, WI 54902; visitation will be from 9:00-11:00AM with the service at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Boy Scout Troop 607, and the YMCA Oshkosh Youth Softball and swim team programs.
