Mark T. Lokken, 53, of Oshkosh died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee after battling with complications of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Born May 24, 1959 in Madison, Mark grew to be an inquisitive and compassionate son of Otis and Thelma (Hermanson) Lokken. His wide and numerous interests satisfied his curiousness, but his most loving interests proved to be his wife Susan (Rogers) whom he married May 8, 1982 in Oshkosh followed by his three daughters, Emily, Molly, and Kelly.Marks membership with the E. A. A. Chapter 252 began in 1978 where he had volunteered with since he was 11 years old, and in time he became the co-chairman at the Seaplane Base during Air Venture. Mark had a passion for flying and received his pilots license at 18. He rebuilt airplanes and built and flew two different manned rubber band powered planes. He loved playing his banjo in the High Flyers Band. He also worked at Mercury Marine for 28 years in research and development.As an active member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish- St. Peters Catholic Church, Mark participated in the choir and bell choir. In conjunction with Most Blessed Sacrament Parish- St. Peters Catholic Church, Mark dedicated time to Global Outreach Catholic Exchange Program where he served as a board member and webmaster. He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Emily (Eric) Willey, Molly (Ryan Yurk) Lokken, Kelly (Alex Volm) Lokken; parents, Otis and Thelma Lokken; identical twin brother, Marvin (Tracy) Lokken; other brothers and sisters, Myron Lokken, Marleen (Dave) Wade, Mary Beth (Matthew) Weidenfeller, and Michele (Dan) Dolson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Terry (Bonnie) Rogers, Marcia (Wesley) Koplitz, Natalie (Dale) Kuklinski, Anna (Ronald) Barthel, Jeffery (Sandie) Rogers, Mark (Karleen) Rogers, Timothy (Michele) Rogers, Rozy Evans; numerous nieces and nephews; exchange students, Klara and Janea; and grand dogs, Piper and Daphne.He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Keven Rogers and mother and father-in-law Raymond and Helen Rogers.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Peters Catholic Church (435 High Ave) at Noon on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 with Rev. James Jugenheimer officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to the time of service.A memorial in his name will be established.
