Marlene R. Butt

Marlene Ruth Butt, 82, of Oshkosh, passed away, surrounded by her family at Aurora Medical Center on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born in Milwaukee to the late Daniel and Ruth (Dawson) Dadas on October 1, 1938. Marlene married Billy Butt on September 11, 1965, he preceded her in death in 2008.
Marlene was blessed with many talents which led her to excel in multiple careers, spanning from management at Kmart, to owner of Forever Yours, a boutique floral shop, and in her later years caring for elderly patients. She was creative, caring, fun loving and spirited and loved decorating for any occasion.
Marlene had a delightful personality and seemed to know everyone wherever she went. She was a great friend and was especially close to her younger sister Debbie and sister-in-law Judy who she enjoyed meeting at The Roxy. She was an entertaining storyteller, loved to shop and spoil all those around her with her generosity, especially her grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Marlene is survived by her son, Daniel Johnson; grandchildren: Erika (Zack) Kluczenko, Cole (Kristin) Johnson, Jacob Johnson; great-grandchildren: Paige, Brett, Hailey, Silas, and Calvin; brother, Gene Dadas; sister, Debbie (Ray) Karau; sister-in-law, Judy Dadas; sister-in-law Joan Dadas; sister-in-law Barbara Gunz; brother-in-law Doug Gunz, and sister-in-law, Lori Butt. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her special friend, Harold Anderson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Butt, her brothers, Adrian Dadas, Daniel Dadas and sisters, Geraldine Lonza and Mary Burns.
A funeral service will take place at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. with Pastor Tim Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
