Marsha A. Jamnik, age 67, of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was born on March 2, 1948 in Beloit the daughter of the late Russell and Jeanette (Kitzrow) Fitzgerald. Marsha graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1966. She became a cosmetologist and worked at a salon for many years. On September 10, 1986 Marsha married Victor J. Jamnik at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lake Villa, IL. She held several positions with Osco Drug and Walgreens before they moved to Mauston, where she began her passion working for St. Patricks Catholic Church. She was a secretary for the priest and for the school. Marsha was very talented in everything she did and left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with. In 2002, Marsha and Vic moved to Florida and settled at Citrus Hills Golf and Country Club. She then worked for Pope John Paul the Second Catholic School as a financial coordinator for the school and retired in 2009. She was also a Eucharistic minister for St. Scholastica Catholic Church. In 2013, Marsha and Vic moved to Oshkosh to be closer to their family. They joined St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church and were active members. Marsha is survived by her beloved husband, Vic of 28 years, her daughter, Jeanette Studt, her son and grandson, Vincent "Vinnie" Studt, both of Oshkosh; son, Jason (Gayle) Studt of Johnsburg, IL; step-son, Victor W. Jamnik of Florida; one brother, Jeffrey (Tarmuni Wati) Fitzgerald of Beloit; and one sister-in-law, Patricia (John) Walther of Kenosha. Marsha is further survived by other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Steve Fitzgerald, one sister, Susan Green.Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 830 S. Westhaven Drive, with Father Doug LeCaptain and Father Michael Warden officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Saturday from 8:30 am until the time of Mass. Interment will take place at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois. A memorial is being established.
