Marshall M. “Butch” Piotter, age 80, of Omro, passed away on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born on September 5, 1942 a son of Martin and Lucille Schultz Piotter.
He graduated from Omro High School in 1960. After graduating high school he worked at Ripon Foods and Omro Gear & Machine for a couple of years and then worked at Wisconsin Axle for 30 years until his retirement in 1994.
In 1964 he married Shiela Bloede; they later divorced. On April 3, 1992 he married Cinda Wischow and they were married until her death in 2009.
Butch enjoyed being outdoors especially deer hunting, fishing, growing asparagus, riding around his ponds on his golf cart and watching the Martins use the many bird houses he had for them. He had an infectious smile and was always up for a good laugh.
He is survived by his daughters Lorri (Lorin) Sternberg, Brenda (Dave) Werner, grandchildren Danielle Kempf, Brittany (Randy) Schuster, Kyle Sternberg, Cameron Sternberg, great-grandchildren Chloe, Bradley, Sawyer, his sisters Marcia (Robert) Nowicki, Judy (Steve) Mugerauer, special friend Rose Piotter, many nieces, nephews, cousins and God-children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Larry “Jess” Piotter, and his wife Cindy Piotter.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside from 2 pm until 5 pm.
The family would like to thank the Aurora Medical Staff for the wonderful care and compassion shown to him.
