Martha A. Pierce

Martha A. Pierce, 94, of Oshkosh, Died on Monday, July 13, 2009 at Century Ridge Elderly Care Center of Chilton, WI. She was born on December 21, 1914 at Bremen, Kansas, the daughter of August and Anna Selle Krenke. Martha was a graduate of Oshkosh High School in 1932 and was a baptized member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society, the Dorcas Circle. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Martha worked briefly for Oshkosh BGosh Corporation before devoting her life to being a homemaker.Martha is survived by one son, Ted and one daughter-in-law, Ellen both of Brillion and two grandchildren, Noelle and Rachel. She is also survived by a special nephew, Robert (Janis) Kroll and a special friend, Severa Gurath, and other nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, an infant daughter, Annette and three brothers and five sisters.Funeral Services for Martha will be held on Thursday July 16, 2009 at 11:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church (370 Bowen St) with the Rev. Marvin Ahlborn Officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial to Trinity Lutheran Church has been established.
