Marva C Reff

Marva C. Reff, 75, of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on April 10, 1936 in Hinsville, IL the daughter of Jacob and Beulah Thome Reff.Born developmentally disabled, Marva found comfort living at home with her parents most of her life. In later years, she lived in Adult Family Homes where she delighted in having housemates. Her final residence was at Harbor Haven Nursing Home in Fond du Lac, WI.Music, baseball, game shows, and going out to dinner brought Marva much happiness. She had a passion for shopping and was elated to receive mail. She especially liked holding and displaying her purchases and mail with those around her, especially hats, purses, and watches.Marva was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her cousin and long time guardian, DeLoma (Mike) Cotter of Fond du Lac. Cousins Carla Thome of Portage; Jerry (Debbie) Thome of New Berlin; Marlin (Kathy) Thome of Mukwonago; and many other cousins.A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Fox Lake, WI with Pastor David Nottling officiating.
