Marvin R. Bradley, age 90, passed away on Monday January 16, 2023 at The Residence in Oshkosh. He was born on October 6, 1932 in the Town of Utica a son of Robert and Marie (Splittgerber) Bradley. On October 11, 1952 he married Betty Pigorsch at Trinity Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death in 2019.
Marvin was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett, the Pickett Lions Club, and enjoyed playing cards, farming, spending time with his family, woodworking, and snowbirding in Arizona with his wife Betty. After several years of farming, Marvin worked at Rockwell International, where he was a dedicated employee, until his retirement in 1995.
He is survived by three daughters Cheryl (Richard) Langenfeld, Barbara Chesna, Connie Bradley, two sons Donald (Jane) Bradley, Duane (Cindy Zellmer) Bradley, his grandchildren Christopher (Nancy) Langenfeld, Chad (Astra) Langenfeld, Jennifer Kind, Angela Chesna, Stephanie Chesna, Brian (Katie) Bradley, Scott (Jessica) Bradley, Kevin (Abby) Bradley, Jacob Bradley, Tyler (Melanie) Bradley, Melissa(Trent) Martin, Austin Bradley, Brittany Marshall, Jadon Ziebell, 27 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one brother Dennis (Cathy) Bradley, two sisters Delores Hedtke, Donna(Richard) Albright, sisters-in-law Nancy Bradley, Shirley Drew.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one son Brian Bradley, great-grandson Justin Riel, two brothers Burton Bradley, Dale Bradley, brothers-in-law Henry Hedtke, Clifford Drew, Lloyd Nitz & sister-in-law Mary Lou Nitz.
A funeral service for Marvin will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 at Noon at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett with Rev. Jud Krohn officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Liberty Prairie Cemetery where full military honors will be held.
A memorial has been established.
The family would like to thank the Residence of Oshkosh especially Lisa and Hospice for the special care they gave Dad in his time of need.
