Mary Catherine Mackowski

Mary Catherine Collins- MacKowski, of Neshkoro, died peacefully Monday September 25, 2006. She was born January 28, 1913, in Oshkosh a daughter of Corneilious and May Anna (Schneider) Collins. Mary married Ambrose MacKowski at St Peters Catholic Church in Oshkosh on August 25, 1960. He preceded her in death in 2002. They were married 46 years. Mary and Ambrose owned a mink ranch in Neshkoro. Mary was a member of both St James Catholic Church in Neshkoro, and St Johns Catholic Church in Princeton. She loved life, her Priests and Churches, she had a wonderful gift for laughter, she enjoyed cards and her many friends. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Collins-Wood, a brother, Robert (Virginia) Collins, both of Oshkosh; seven nieces, Carol Wood-Knight of Pittsburgh, PA, Mary Beth (Sergio) Wood-Piedrahita of Columbia, S. America, Patricia Collins of Oshkosh, Cindy (Dennis) Collins-George of Chicago, Kathleen (John) Knight-Armstrong of Medina, OH, Kristine (Ben) Knight-Miller of Bailey, CO, Christina (Aris) Piedrahita-Moustaches of Athens, Greece, four Nephews, Robert (Kelly) Wood of Salt Lake City, UT, Michael (Denise) Collins of Swanee, GA, Andres Piedrahita of San Paulo Sula, Honduras, and Nicolas Piedrahita of Barcelona, Spain; great niece, Olivia Wood of Salt Lake City, UT, great nephew, Nicolas Collins of Swanee, GA, four great-great nieces, Megan and Paige Knight-Armstrong both of Medina, OH, Phoebe and Zoe Piedrahita-Moustaches both of Athens, Greece. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother, Louis Collins.A memorial mass for Mary will be held on Thursday September 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church (830 S Westhaven Drive) with Father Doug LeCaptain officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the mass. Private inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite church or charity in Marys name would be appreciated.
