Mary Elizabeth Glatz

Mary E. (Chase) Glatz, age 62, of Oshkosh passed away at Mercy Medical Center with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born in Oshkosh to the late Myron and Jane (Helm) Chase on January 4, 1956. Mary was united in marriage to Gerald “gerry” Glatz on June 28, 1975 and their marriage was blessed with two daughters.
Mary was a graduate of Omro High School and later worked at Brickham Stamping. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ. Mary enjoyed traveling and shopping. But above all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, Gabby and Brenton.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Glatz; daughters: Melissa (Matt) Weisse, Mindy (Nate) Brown; grandchildren: Gabby Weisse and Brenton Brown; brothers: James (Daisy) Chase; Michael (Kathy) Chase; sisters: Bonnie (James) Salm, Carol Reiter, Sharon (Brad) Davis, Susan (Chuck) Doemel, Kathy (Joe) Hughes, Connie (Jim) Doemel; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Melvin and Richard Chase; brother-in-law: Robert Reiter; and infant brother: Myron Earl Chase.
A memorial service will be held for Mary at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr, with Rev. Andi Wolf officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
