Mary Ellen K. Wenzlaff

Mary Ellen Wenzlaff, age 78, passed away on Saturday December 19, 2015 at Eden Meadows Rehabilitation Home. She was born on June 5, 1937, in Oshkosh the daughter of the late William and Mary (Ostwald) Troudt. Mary Ellen graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1955 and furthered her education at UW-Oshkosh. She was united in marriage to Wayne Wenzlaff on November 15, 1958 in Oshkosh. Mary Ellen was employed at New American Bank. She enjoyed raising her family and knitting sewing, traveling with her family, baking, quilting, and her favorite companion, her pet, Russell. Mary Ellen and Wayne were dedicated members at Trinity Lutheran Church. She also was a member of Homemakers and bible study. Mary Ellen was looking forward for the coming of her newest great-grandchild. Mary Ellen is survived by one son, Tim (Sue) Wenzlaff, two daughter: Wendy (Ron) Ellison and Betsy Wenzlaff; nine grandchildren: Stephanie (Andy) Albrecht, Sarah (fianc Adam Brenizer) Wenzlaff, Bradley Wenzlaff, Kaitlynn (Brent) Zick, Paul, Cory and Tony Neal, Simon and Molly Niedfeldt, three greatgrandchildren, one brother, James Troudt. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, her parents and brother, William Troudt.Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at KonradBehlman Funeral Home Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, with Pastor Kelly Leary officiating. Friends and family may visit that the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service. A memorial is being established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
