Mary J. Isaacson

Mary J. Isaacson, age 95, passed away at Omro Care Center on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born to the late Emil and Mary (Hayes) Thiede on December 27, 1927, in Neenah. Mary was a graduate of Oshkosh High School. She married Russell Isaacson on December 1, 1956 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. She worked as a customer complaint specialist at her local candle manufacturing company. She enjoyed watching TV, especially the TCM or "The Great Oldies”. she also enjoyed traveling and had made her way to Europe as well as some cruises. She also loved gardening especially in her rose garden.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Sheila; grandchildren, Craig Burge, Melissa Wierzkowski, Yvonne Lemmer, and Kim Wegwart; great-grandchildren, Jade Wierzkowski, Christopher & Michael Xiong, Kaley Cason as well as great-great-grandchildren. Mary is further survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Thiede; nephew, Mark (Kelly) Thiede and great-nephew Nathan Thiede.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lamont-Isaacson; daughter, Connie Isaacson; brothers, Russell, and Douglas Thiede; as well as her best friend, Elaine Wastart.

A time of visitation will be held at Lake View Memorial Park on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 12PM until 2PM. a graveside service will take place at 2PM.
