Mary Jane Konrad

Mary Jane Konrad, age 85, of Oshkosh, died Monday September 9, 2013 at Century Oaks. She was born in Berlin, Wi on March 2, 1928 a daughter of Edmund and Marie Basing Wislinsky. On June 17, 1950 she married Frederick G. Konrad in Oshkosh.Mary Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, traveling, shopping, bowling, and loved her dog, Josie. She had a strong life long faith in God.She is survived by her husband Fred, four sons, Gary(Nancy) Konrad of Oshkosh, Jeffrey(Gale) Konrad of Weatherford, TX, Mark(Shelly) Konrad of Menasha, Michael(Jeannine) Konrad of Tampa, FL, two daughters Karen(Michael) DeCaro of Oshkosh, Kathryn Kate(Mark Griesbach) Konrad of Tallahassee, Fl., 10 grandchildren Kristi(Chris) Mueller, Katie(Michael) Swanson, Kevin(Robyn) Konrad, Cherish Leighton, Heather(Jared) Polley, Justin(Kisoon) Konrad, Kurtis Konrad, Jonathon Konrad, Joshua Konrad, Thomas Konrad, four great-grandchildren Chloe and Briana Mueller, Carlie and Carson Leighton, three sisters Doris Wislinsky of Oshkosh, Anita(Charles) Deininger of Marathon, Wi., Joan(Mary Moe Mueller) Wislinsky of Nerinx, KY., two sisters-in-law Mildred Konrad and Laura Bartelt, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by one brother Edmund Wislinsky, and two sisters Mabel Crimmings and Elizabeth Betty Wislinsky.A funeral service for Mary Jane will be held on Thursday September 12, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. Michael Warden officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.A memorial has been established to Alzheimer Association or Heartland Hospice.The family of Mary Jane would like to thank the angels at Century Oaks and Heartland Hospice for all their care of Mary Jane.
