Maxine Mae Frohrib

Maxine M. Frohrib, 87, of Oshkosh died on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Park View Health Center. She was born on February 5, 1922 in Milford, NE and was adopted by Ernest and Grace Losey Kelly on February 5, 1923. On September 25, 1965 Maxine married Jerome Metzer Frohrib in Oshkosh. Metzer preceded her in death on September 21, 1996. Survivors include one son, Charles Werner of Castle Rock, CO; two daughters, Barbara (Sandy) Lewis of Colorado Springs CO, and Beverly Jones-Hanson of Phoenix, AZ; two granddaughters, Wendy Werner of Elizabeth, CO and Amy Werner of Littleton, CO; great-grandson William of Elizabeth,CO; niece/guardian Patti (Pat) Frohrib of Oshkosh; brother-in-law George (Carol) Frohrib of Oshkosh and other nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her adoptive parents; husband, Jerome; and one granddaughter, Kelli Jones. A graveside service followed by inurnment will be held at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.The family wishes to thank the staff of Park View Health Center for the love and care given to Maxine for the past 10 years. They made her life very comfortable and secure. Donations in memory of Maxine Frohrib may be made to Park View Health Center in Oshkosh.
