Mertie Leitl

Mertie Leitl, 89, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Oakwood Manor. She was born April 30, 1925 in Oshkosh to the late Frederick and Martha (Wesenberg) Minckler. She married Roland Leitl November 19, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1964.Mertie will be remembered by many for her outstanding years of nursing service while working at Mercy Hospital. Mertie was an avid cribbage player and she loved cats. Mertie is survived by two sons, Dave (Lori) Leitl of Cedarburg, Michael (Sharon) Leitl of Lansdale, PA, eight grand-children, Meghan, Mike, Tracy, Jason, Lisa, Margaret, Nicholas, Brett, two great grand-children, Rebecca, and Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joe, and Robert Leitl, and one sister, Marie Davis.A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Lake View Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of service at 10am. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park following services.A special thanks to all the staff at Oakwood Manor, and the many friends who supported Mertie.
