Meta B. Feren

Meta B. Feren, age 102, died February 26, 2016 at Aurora Bay Care. She was born on December 25, 1913 in the town of Nekimi the daughter of Herman and Lydia (Eulrich) Raddatz. On May 11, 1940 she married John A. Feren. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1978.Meta was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Oshkosh. Meta is survived by 3 children, Dr. John (Herta) Feren, Neshkoro; Susan (James E.) Woods, Bradenton, FL; and James Feren, Bullhead City, AZ; 6 grandchildren, Thomas Feren, Flint, MI; Timothy Feren, Montgomery, IL; Peter Feren, Oshkosh; Elizabeth Blackard, Denver, CO; Stephanie(Chad) Lundquist, Kansas City, MO and Allycia Schmidt, Atlanta, GA; 3 great-grandchildren.Meta was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Miriam Raddatz.A private service will be held with entombment at Lake View Memorial Park.
