Michael D. Goodacre "Big Mike", age 67, passed away January 18, 2018 atMercy Medical Center with family by his side. He was bom December 5, 1950 in
Oshkosh to the late Donald R. and Joyce E. (Elmer) Goodacre. He was the
second of eight children. Mike worked at several places - Buckstaff, driving
AirLimo, but he is mainly known through his bartending at Tuffy's, Buddy's/Polish
Corner, Dinger's Lighthouse, and Big Daddy's (on Main St.).
Mike is survived by three brothers, Jeff, Mark (Susan) Goodacre of Oshkosh,
Scott (Julie) Goodacre of Rapid River, Ml, three sisters, Lorri Sawall, Tammy
Witthuhn and Penny Richter all of Oshkosh; five nieces, Tarah (Mike) Pawicz,
Stacy (Alex) Bublrtz, Elizabeth, Kristin and Emily Goodacre, one nephew, Logan
Richter, four grandnieces, one grandnephew and one grandnephew due in
February. Also very close friends that are more like family, Steve, Danny and
Randy Borski, Sharon Furman, George Jones and Mary Helm, aunts, uncles,
many cousins, other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his
parents and older brother Donald A. Goodacre.
Per Mike's wishes there will be no service, only a time of visitation from 10am to
1pm Sunday January 21, 2018 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home 402 Waugoo
Ave. Oshkosh. After the visitation there will be a celebration of Mike's life at
Twisted Roots 693 N. Main St. Oshkosh starting at 2pm.
