Michael T. Kramer

Michael T. Kramer, 73 of Oshkosh, passed away at his residence on Friday, March 15, 2024 following a 10 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on September 14, 1950 to the late Orville and Myra (Spieles) Kramer. He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1968 and went on to earn Bachelor degrees in both Political Science and History.

Throughout his life, he held a variety of jobs from paperboy to Shakey’s Pizza Parlor, H.C. Prange Co., Regional Manager at Toys R Us, U.S. Bank, and ending his career as a cook at A&W. He also served on the Omro City Council and as Mayor of Omro.

Mike had a passion for baseball and especially enjoyed watching his beloved Cubs. He also loved hockey at any level from Mites to the NHL.

He is survived by his son, Casey; longtime companion, Lora Kitz, and numerous friends he  made on his life journey. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his request, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Electric Lounge where he became “family” to special friends Tiffany and Ryan.
