Michael Wayne Ledioyt

January 12, 1953 — March 23, 2009

Michael W. LeDioyt, 56, of Oshkosh, lost his courageous battle to cancer at St. Elizabeth Hospital, March 22, 2009, with his wife and children by his side. He was born on January 12, 1953 in Oshkosh to Wayne and Betty Jean Paulsen LeDioyt. In 1963, his mother married Dennis Syvrud who was a wonderful father throughout his life. On November 30, 1974 he married Wendy Witzel in Oshkosh. Michael was the owner/operator of LeDioyt Enterprises, established in 1980. He always had great passion for his work, and his family. He loved fast cars and boats, enjoyed living on the lake and all activities on the water. He loved his weekend rides with his wife and friends on his Harley-Davidson. Mike felt he lived a good life and had no regrets. He was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife and greatest friend, Wendy, his son Kristopher, two daughters Julie(Craig) Jones, and Cassie, three grandchildren Karly, Hayden, Rachel, his parents, Jean and Dennis Syvrud, Wayne and Janet LeDioyt all of Oshkosh, two brothers Don(Cheri) Syvrud of Frankfurt, IL., Gordy(Wendy) LeDioyt of Oshkosh, two sisters Lynn(Barb) Syvrud, Renee´(Tom) Borisch, all of Oshkosh, sisters-in-law Judy(Jim) Kujawa of Appleton, Susan(David) Gerke of White Oak, N.M., Barb(Tom) Lewis of Fond du Lac, step sister Rojene(Tom) Leinhardt of Madison, his special dog Murphy, several nieces, nephews, numerous aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by one brother Kelly Syvrud. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 27, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 26, at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. and again on Friday one hour prior to the funeral.
