Michael E. Woods

Michael E. Woods, age 66, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at his home.

Michael was born on September 5, 1958, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of James Sr. and Costella (Richie) Woods. He graduated from Carrick High School and went on to receive two Bachelor of Science degrees in criminal justice and public administration. He served as a Sheriff's Deputy in Winnebago County after serving in the US Army.

Michael spent his free time officiating volleyball and softball among other sports. He also was a member of the 40/8 Veterans Association.

Michael is survived by his wife, Trudi Woods; children, Caroline Woods and Zachery Woods; and his brother, James Jr. Woods.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Costella Woods; his brothers, Gregory and David Woods; as well as his niece, Kamille Woods.

A celebration of life service for Michael will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 5:00pm, at Word Fellowship, 1020 Tullar Rd, Neenah, WI 54956. Visitation will be held from 3:00pm till the time of service. Military honors will follow the service.
