Millicent Mae Ebersberger, 100, formerly of Oshkosh died Tuesday September 7, 2010 at Willow Park Residence, New Holstein. She was born December 30, 1909 in New Holstein a daughter of the late George and Anna (Timm) Meyer. Millicent married Louis Ebersberger on August 16, 1933 in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1950. Millicent worked for 46 years as a telephone operator, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church and of the Telephone Pioneers. Her survivors include four nieces Rosemarie (Gordon) Thome of New Holstein, Patricia (Paul) Buechel of Brookfield, Grace (Earl) Schneider of Milwaukee, and Barbara Slattery of California; three nephews George (Jayne) Meyer of Madison, James (Betty) Weber of New Holstein, and Bob (Laura) Meyer of Louisiana; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. A funeral service for Millicent is being held Saturday September11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, Rev. Mark Wilkens officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service at the chapel. A memorial is being established to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Millicent's memory.
