Nancy Louise Rueckert

Nancy (Ferguson) Rueckert (nee Schein) unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, February 8. She was a spunky and perky young 83 who loved life and had a heart of gold. Nancy gave generously of herself, loved people and made friends easily. She was born May 10, 1931 in Oshkosh to Gertrude and Norman Schein. She was married to Alden Ferguson from February 13, 1951 to October 11, 1985 and married James Rueckert on December 26, 1988.Nancy was proud to have worked at Miles Kimball Company as the receptionist and was proud when Mrs. Kimball would visit with her. She also worked at Oshkosh Luggage, Sears and Service Litho-Print. Her many favorite things to do included playing games on Pogo with her twin sister Pat and sister Bette, Friday night fishin group, bingo, traveling, Far Vu golf league, girlfriend nights out, cribbage league, people in general and being called Nanny Goat. Survivors include her son Mark Ferguson, daughters Paula (Jim) Condor and Jill (John Berry) Paul, stepchildren Barb (Jerry) Kamp, Barry (Stephanie) Rueckert and Paul (Becky) Rueckert; twin sister Pat Wetterau, sister Bette Stebbins, best friend Gloria Kiser and special friends Carol and June; grandchildren Caley Condor, Lisa Condor and Austin Paul; step-grandchildren Jamie (Sam) Brazys, Kaelyn (Ivan) Lopez, Becky (Michael) Malivuk, Krisa (Jack) Jensen, Katie (Matthew) Gonzalez, Nathan (Micaela) Rueckert, Jeremy (Annie) Kamp, Ben Kamp and Brian (Kendra) Rueckert; sisters-in-law Ruth (Keith) Comeaux and Verna Rueckert; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Jim Rueckert; brothers Norman and William Schein, brothers-in-law Fred Wetterau and Walter Rueckert; Ray and Olida Rueckert.Please join the family in celebrating Nancys abundant life on Thursday, February 12 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home on Witzel St. in Oshkosh with visitation from 10:00-12:00, service at 12:00, gathering and light lunch at the funeral home at 12:30, and burial at 2:00 at Lakeview Cemetery.From Nancy to all of her many friends and family, her favorite farewell Toodaloo!
