Nancy Anne Mather

March 15, 1946 — January 4, 2025

Oshkosh

Nancy A. Mather, age 78 of Oshkosh, passed away Saturday, January 4th at St Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was born on March 15, 1946, in Oshkosh to the late John and Marian (Golz) Harra.

She was a proud mother to Carrie (Brian) Loveland of Greenville, Wisconsin, and Joseph (Michelle) Hildebrand of Grafton, Wisconsin. Nancy’s greatest joy came from being a grandmother to her six grandchildren – Dylan Loveland, Cecily Loveland, Bennett Hildebrand, Carson Hildebrand, Brynlee Hildebrand, and Cooper Hildebrand.

In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her sister Mary Ellen (Harra) Pinter and nieces Debbie (Gary) Sarmiento, Sue DeCastris, Kate Pinter, and two great nephews, Jacob, and Frankie.

Nancy graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1964, attended UW-Oshkosh for 1 year and then transferred to Mercy Medical Center of Radiologic Technologists, graduating in 1967. She then embarked on a career at Affinity Medical Group, now known as Ascension as an X-Ray Technician for 37 years, retiring in 2012.

Nancy loved being in the company of family and friends. She cherished every moment as she watched her children and grandchildren grow, succeed, and pursue their passions. And being a grandma was one of Nancy’s most treasured roles. Her grandchildren always felt the love of grandma and knew they were spoiled.

Nancy was also passionate about Wisconsin sports as she was an avid fan of the Badgers, Brewers, and Packers. She loved spending time organizing family gatherings, especially at the cottage her parents owned for many decades. During her downtime, she enjoyed a good book, working on puzzles, playing Words with Friends, and Facebook (and commenting a lot).

In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. A private Celebration of Life will occur with Nancy’s immediate family. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Sympathy cards or memorials may be sent to Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 402 Waugoo Ave. c/o the Nancy Mather Family.
