Natalie Eve Hammond, 49, of Oshkosh died Friday January 20, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born December 24, 1956 in Racine, a daughter of the late Gerald and Connie Hammond. Natalie fed the poor of Oshkosh being the head cook at The Salvation Army for 23 years. She had a great sense of humor and was very creative. Natalie loved to camp, enjoyed wildlife, and didnt mind fishing in the rain. She had a tolerance for people that could only be exceeded by her love for people. Natalie delighted in the smiles of children. Her survivors include a special friend Lois Wegner of Oshkosh; brothers Gerald Hammond & family of Racine, and Patrick Hammond & family of North Carolina; all the poor children of Oshkosh; and partner in crime DellaMae. A memorial service will be held Monday January 23, 2006 at 9:00 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, officiated by John Mark Wegner-ecumenical. Family and friends may call at the Waugoo Ave. funeral home on Monday from 8 AM until the service. Farewell, see you on the other side, from all who love you so dearly.
