Nathan N. Paulos, age 92, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Evergreen retirement community with his family by his side. Nathan was born to the late George and Irene (Severson) Paulos on January 7, 1921 in Oshkosh, WI. On September 6, 1947 in Oshkosh, he would marry the love of his life Dolores Rehm. He enlisted in the Army and served seven years for his country during WWII and later was a molder at Universal Foundry. Throughout his life he was an avid gardener and woodworker.Nathan was preceded by his parents, brother, Kenneth Paulos, and his two faithful companions Sam I and Sam II.He is survived by his wife, Dolores; two sons, George (Susan) and Nick (Lorelle) both of Oshkosh; five daughters, Linda (Ames) Wade of Eureka, Barbara (Duane) Paulos of Oshkosh, Donna (Russell) Herzig of Waupaca, Gale (Ron) Martiny of Oshkosh, and Paula (Neil) Hesek of Oshkosh; sister, Marian Haats of Marinette; and step-brother Edward Rehm of Oshkosh.Nathan is further survived by thirteen grandchildren,Laura, Gary, Kelly, David, Garrett, Donald, Andrea, Leslie, Nathan, Paul, Morgen, Thomas, and Neil Jr; fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes (Eastside) with Rev. John Worzala-Dumke officiating. Family and friends will be able to visit from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
