Nona Grace Nimke

Nona G. Nimke, 95, of Oshkosh died Tuesday February 23, 2010 at Omro Care Center. She was born October 17, 1914 in Berlin a daughter of August and Ida (Lempke) Nimke. Nona had worked at Miles-Kimball Co., Ira Parker Paints, and Brickham Stamping over the years. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish-St. Peter site and was an Eagles Club member for over 60 years. Her survivors include a sister Josephine Werner of Oshkosh, a special nephew and his wife Harold & Sheila Gurkowski of Winneconne, and numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Lucille, Loretta, and Jane, and two brothers Alfred and Earl. A funeral service for Nona will be held Thursday February 25, 2010 at noon at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside with Rev. James Jugenheimer officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the Waugoo Ave. funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Berlin.
