Norbert Bednarek

Norbert G. Bednarek, age 76, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born November 9, 1936 in Oshkosh to the late John and Lucille (Suchicke) Bednarek.Norbert graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1956 and had worked for Hoffmaster. He married Lois Wolf-Goode on June 10, 1989 in Oshkosh.He enjoyed hunting, fishing and in his later years he became an avid Packer fan.Norbert is survived by his wife, Lois; his son, David Bednarek of Middleton; daughters, Brenda (Fred) Schubert of Oshkosh, Kelie Block of Berlin and Mae Souror of Grand Marsh; also by two step-daughters; Debra (Bruce) Schroeder of VA and Janet Tiry of Oshkosh. He is further survived by four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, thirteengreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Alice Bednarek and a son-in-law, Jeff Block.Funeral services for Norbert will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Most Blessed Sacrament - St. Josaphat Catholic Church (Corner of Walnut and Congress) at 12:00 p.m.Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 form 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-(Eastside) and again on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park after the service with full military honors.
