Norma G. Meyer

Norma G. Meyer, 92, of Oshkosh died Saturday April 14, 2012 at Century Oaks. She was born November 13, 1919 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Louis and Viola Dushenski. Norma married William Meyer on April 15, 1941 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2011. Norma had worked at Piggly Wiggly for a few years and then at J C Penney Co. for many years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Her survivors include a daughter, Marlyn Dobberke of Oshkosh; three sons, Jack (Jane) Meyer of Oshkosh, Daniel (Barbara) Meyer of Oshkosh, and Tom Meyer of Omro; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Mabel Reichenberger and a brother George Dushensky. A funeral service for Norma will be held Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial is being established to Century Oaks or the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. Normas family would like to thank the staffs at Century Oaks, Heartland Hospice, and Lakeland Care District for all the wonderful care given.
