Norman D. Mueller, age 88, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born on May 29, 1933 in Oshkosh a son of Norman A. and Margaret Schreiber Mueller.
Norm was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. For many years he owned and operated Mueller Chrysler Plymouth Lincoln Mercury in Oshkosh. He was a member of the Westside Association. He was proud to be the only retired Marine Colonel in Oshkosh. He enjoyed boating, playing cards especially, and was a fan of the Oakland Raiders and Boston Celtics.
He is survived by two sons Randy Mueller, Spencer Mueller, two daughters Julie Mueller, Emily(Kelly) Mueller Flanigan, his three grandchildren Richard Mueller, Braylon Flanigan, Keegan Flanigan, one brother Steven(Jeanne) Mueller, two sisters Louise(Ron) Morrison, Margie Cox, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Mary Vesperman and Carol Kruse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday January 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish-St. Peter church. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral . Burial with full military honors will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic following the funeral.
A memorial has been established in Norm’s name
