Om P. Sharma

Om Parkash Sharma, loving husband of Chanchal Sharma, passed away at the age of 84 on July 17, 2013 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After enduring many years battling Parkinsons disease, Om passed away peacefully in the arms of his daughter. Om was born on March 22, 1929 in Taiping, Malaysia to the late Ramlel and Sheila-Wanti Sharma. He will always be remembered for his love of his family, his unparalleled hospitality, and his jokes. He was always up-to-date on the world news, and avid soccer fan, a passionate gardener, and loved cracking jokes with anyone who visited him.He is survived by his wife of 52 years Chanchal Sharma; his daughter and son-in-law Ritu and Dilip Tannan; his son and daughter-in-law Rajiv and Meenal Sharma; and, his four grandchildren Anajali Tannan, Neha Tannan, Kartik Sharma and Shivangi Sharma, He was also fortunate to have many loving friends here in the community, who have been extremely supportive throughout his illness.A service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday July 20, 2013 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to the National Parkinson's Foundation or Cerebral Palsy of Mideast Wisconsin .
