Orville, E. Bergman, 93, of Van Dyne, died Sunday September 4, 2005 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac. He was born on August 24, 1912 in Van Dyne a son of Otto and Wilhelmina Bloedow Bergman. On November 10, 1932 he married Doris Rasmussen in North Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on December 10, 1990.He was a former owner of Bergman Lumber. In 1933 he joined company 657 of the CCC located in Elcho, Wi. He was a member of Eldorado United Methodist Church, a volunteer fireman for the Van Dyne fire department for 50 years and served as chief for 37 of those years, he loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, carving duck decoys, gardening, restoring and collecting guns, spending time at the cabin. He was a charter member of the Van Dyne Lions club, and was involved in the Black Wolf Shuetzen Verein.He is survived by two sons Gary(Flo) Bergman of Watertown, Thomas Bergman of Van Dyne, 10 grandchildren, Robert, Steve, Teresa, Christine, Rodney, Ryan, Calvin, Daniel, Lynn, Kimberly, 16 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son John, one infant daughter Jean, two brothers Arthur and Hubert.Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in New Elm cemetery.
