Patricia Ann Jodar, age 76 of Oshkosh, passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Wednesday March 4th, 2020 after losing her battle against cancer. She was born on April 4th, 1943 in Baraboo, WI to Robert and Carol (Meier) Melter.
Patricia worked as a waitress for many years, endearing herself to countless customers with her ever-present sense of humor and joie de vivre. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo, but her greatest joy was spending time with family.
She is survived by her children Terry (Diane) Wendt, Elizabeth (John) Kaltenbrun, and Benjamin (Amanda) Witt; daughter in-law Lori Wendt; grandchildren Eric Wendt, John (Melissa) Davey, Logan and Mason Kaltenbrun, Michele Atkinson, Kaitlyn (Kyle) Colburn, Kylie and Madison Wendt; great grandchildren Owen and Benjamin Davey, Hunter and Hayden Colburn; brother Robert Melter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Warren; and her son, Karl Wendt.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of 3 West at Aurora for the compassionate care they gave Patricia during her final illness. We also wish to thank the many people around Oshkosh with whom she interacted when she made her “rounds” – these relationships were important to her and brightened her days.
