Patricia L. Deppe

Patricia "Patty" L. Deppe, age 85, of Berlin, WI, passed away at home on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Patty was born in Oshkosh, WI, on July 16, 1939, daughter of John and Lucille (Dake) Pellinger. She graduated high school and pursued a career in banking. She met her future husband, Richard Deppe, on a blind date, then on June 1, 1977, they were married.

She enjoyed living on the lake where it was peaceful. When she wasn't on the lake it was said that Patty could outshop anyone. She was an incredibly talented seamstress who could make anything, she especially loved to make quilts. She was a wonderful cook and baker; her lasagna and chocolate chip cookies will be greatly missed. Patty's love for dogs was clear. Sophie and Sammy will miss her.

Patty is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Kathi (Paul) Miller; sons, Randy (Sheila) Carlson, Russ Carlson; step-son, Jeff Deppe; grandchildren, Kristopher (Sarah) Karns, Kimberly (Nick) Ryf, Scot, Kyle, and Kole Carlson, Kaitlyn (Nick) Hazelwood, Shelby and Lexi Carlson; step-grandchildren, Matt (Krista) Miller, Jason (Mindy) Miller, Erin Deppe, Erica (Ernie) Kratzmann; 18 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, David Carlson; as well as brothers, John, Bob, and Dick Pellinger.

A funeral service for Patty will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI, with Pastor Dave Barber officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00pm till the start of the service. Entombment will be held following the service at Lake View Memorial Park.

A memorial has been established in her name.
