Patricia June Tesch

Patricia June Tesch, 70, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2009 with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Pat was born on June 27th, 1938 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Sphatt) Lewellyn. She married David A. Tesch on January 11, 1958. They were married for 48 wonderful years. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2006. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Winneconne. Patty worked as a waitress and later worked at Winnebago Mental Health Institute until her retirement where she continued as a volunteer.One of the things Patty loved the most was her annual fishing trip to Canada with her husband and friends. She also loved to go golfing and play dartball at Sacred Heart. At home she enjoyed watching the birds, flower gardening and crocheting. She also enjoyed her wonderful collection of cat figurines, and of course, That darn cat, Bogie, her special companion.Her family will miss Nanas Apple Crisp & Potato dumplings.Pattys memory will be cherished by her children, Gary Tesch, Linda (Steve) Schueler, and Steve (April) Tesch all of Oshkosh; brothers, Roger (Bernie) Lewellyn and Dennis Lewellyn, sister, Gail (Doug) Korn, half brother, Larry (Carol) Lewellyn and very caring sisters-in-law, Della Tesch and Jeanne Lewellyn. She was beloved Nana to her four grandchildren, Elaina and Stacey Schueler, Kaitlyn Tesch and Nik Luft and her nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by special friends including Jeanette Henke, Carol Lipinski, Bonnie Faust and Priscilla MacDougall. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Kay in 1961, her half sister, Joyce Lewellyn, her brother Ronnie Lewellyn and her sister-in-law, Dona McDaniel.Funeral Services for Patricia will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Konrad-Behlman – Westside with Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to the service time. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.Pattys family would like to thank the staff at Aurora VNA Hospice, especially Berta, Tami and Laura.
