Patricia A. Koltz, age 70 of Oshkosh, passed away on March 22, 2025 at Bethel Home. She was born in Waupaca on October 15, 1954, to the late James and Elaine (Krause) Hass.
Patricia lived life to the fullest, enjoying her passions for crafting, building things, gardening and spending time fishing. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she found joy and fellowship with others.
Her academic achievements were remarkable; she earned an Associate's Degree in Hotel Hospitality and Management with honors from Fox Valley Technical College and another Associate's Degree in Marketing, also with honors from the same institution, where she later served on the Board of Trustees. She further distinguished herself by graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Management & Communication from Concordia University. Additionally, Patricia earned a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Behavior with specialty training and HR development, graduating summa cum laude from Silver Lake College. Her dedication to lifelong learning was evident in every aspect of her life and career.
Patricia is survived by her children, Dawn Floyd and Corey Janke; sister, Penney Korotka; nephews, Kalvin and Joshua Korotka; niece, Tara Korotka; ex-partner, Bill Koltz.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kayla Janke.
A funeral service for Patricia will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2450 W 9th Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54904 officiated by Rev. Greg Koepsell. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a contribution to the Good Shepherd Memorial Garden Fund. We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Bethel Home and Moments Hospice for their compassion and care during this difficult time.
